A locally rare Least Flycatcher is currently being seen at Chester Frost Park.
Specifically, the bird is being seen in and around the Willow trees on the opposite side of the marshy area next to the ranger’s station, at the camp ground. Click here for Google Map with dropped pin.
The Least Flycatcher was first observed by Kris and Stef Jones on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at 10:15 a.m. mourning. But after a few minutes they lost sight of the bird and were not able to relocate it.
However, they did relocate the Least Flycatcher this morning, May 11, 2020. It was being reported as present by birders as recently as 4:30 pm.
